Spiders & Georg

So...I have only been working digitally for a long time and I never draw, but I had an idea for a 12-Word RPG after seeing that it's the 20 years since the Spiders Georg tumblr post:

The Original Spiders Georg : r/tumblr

“average person eats 3 spiders a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

and after being really inspired by some of the entries to the 12-Word RPG Jam

A 2d6 Minutes Fantasy RPG

I wanted to do something quick and messy (something I normally find impossible because autism, perfectionism, and lack of confidence) that I could just make and share and have the doing of it be a huge step for me, regardless of the quality of the thing itself.

I did this all in a few hours, hence the awful photos, but actually managing to focus with ADHD meds and do all these things I either can't or don't allow myself to do, so yeah.

Who can resist a game that dabbles in tumblr lore AND is, against the funny nature of the original post, extremely terrifying? I adore the loose style of the illustration and the way the instructions flow through the page - it really fits the tone of the game, not too serious but also a little eerie and very recognizable. It just goes to show that good things come out of allowing some "flaws" in your work, at some point they might become your signature. :)

I can't thank you enough for your kind words and thoughtful reflection. Letting go, embracing imperfections, and  allowing something to just be a single process and done were hard, but it feels like going through an invaluable process.

You are a wonder!
